The experience and insight we have in the poultry sector, particularly broilers, enables us to utilise our expertise in the design and construction of calf sheds.  Poultry units provide a climate-controlled draft-free environment, ideal for rearing calves. 

The standard design of a Powell & Co poultry building can easily be adapted to provide an environment suitable for calves that also provide excellent ventilation and bio-security.

Whether it is a basic steel-framed calf shed or a more complex shed with group pens and individual fully plastic slatted pens we have the solution.  In addition, we can incorporate areas for milk mixing, washing, feed storage and amenity buildings for staff.
